OOTD | Media Chic

Happy Friday lovelies, I hope you are doing well. Here is a question, how do you dress for a meeting in the city when you are not part of the corporate world? I remember when I worked in a Law firm and film directors or music producers would come in for meetings and I always admired their attire because they didn’t change who they were by putting on a suit just to fit the surroundings.They wore what they would normally wear on a daily basis. I want to be me and feel comfortable and this outfit ticks all the boxes for me. I think a blazer smartens up any outfit for any occasion. This one is from H&M and I love it! It’s nicely fitted bringing in the waist, therefore creating a nice shape,the shoulders are lightly padded which brings some height and structure to the jacket. I love the pockets and rolled up sleeves make this even more casual. I like to call it ‘media chic’ as it reminds me of people who work in creative areas such as media and design. I consider myself a creator too. I like to wear this with a plain t-shirt, jeans and of course my Converse All Stars. Paired down makeup and minimal jewellery make this look effortless yet still put together.
