Feel Good Summer Style

Hello lovely reader and welcome to my blog, I’m so happy to have you here. Today I want to talk Summer style, what to wear that feels good because that’s what matters right? I’m petite and 4″11 so alot of what I wear tailors to my size and shape obviously but you can very well adapt to your own should you want to. I find Summer style a tricky one to get right because a lot of what is in style just does not flatter my shape. I’m a size 10 with a big bottom ( yes I said it, I have a big arse and I’m not mad about it) I don’t feel comfortable in too tight figure hugging clothing but I still want to look and feel feminine. I love a good T-Shirt and this one from Hush is pefection! It’s super soft and elevates any outfit. I paired it with this bright pink pleated skirt from Asos which is how I’ve seen the T-Shirt styled on the website. When I purchase an item of clothing I always look at what the model in the picture is wearing it with and that’s how I get my style ideas. Pinterest is also a great inspiration too without it I wouldn’t have a clue.

Now I don’t know about you but I can’t do high heels anymore, I just don’t feel comfortable. I love wearing trainers with most of my outfits and these Adidas Stan Smiths are my absolute favourites. I like to say they dress down any dressier outfit if that makes sense? They look super cool with dresses too.

What’s great about this oufit is that you can transition into the Winter months too just by adding a chunky knit and some boots. I like to get the most out of my clothing so it has to be wearable in any season.

To sum up style is a personal preference and you shouldn’t feel obligated to wear things just because it’s in fashion or it’s what all the cool kids are wearing ( really showing my age here ) I’ve learnt that I have to wear things I love, that fit properly and suit my size and shape. There are so many trends I’d love to follow but I would look ridiculous and worse I wouldn’t feel confident. It’s all about trial and error till you find your own personal happy style and once you do you will be your absolute best self ever!
