THE ULTIMATE NUDE LIP TRIO

As much as I like experimenting with bright colours, the nude lip will always be a firm favourite. With so many different tones out there it can be tricky to find the right nude for you. Too pale and you risk looking like you’ve been lost out in the Sahara Desert, too flesh like and you look like your face has swallowed your lips. It’s trial and error, not as easy as one would think. Take into consideration your skintone and hair colour. If you have an olive complexion and dark hair you could go for a darker, warm toned nude, something with Caramel undertones like MAC Honey Love. If you are fair skinned with a cool undertone choose a neutral option like MAC Blankety or Myth. I’m using MAC as a reference here because must of us know the lipstick shades like the back of our hands! So here is my ultimate nude lip trio which I was wearing in my latest video here. NYX Slide On Glide On Waterproof Lip Liner in the shade Nude Suede Shoes is possibly the best formula I have tried and it’s only £5.50. It rivals the Urban Decay 24/7. Seriously, it’s budge proof! I can eat a meal and guzzle countless cups of coffee without the need to reapply.Plus it’s the best nude ever. Next up MAC Myth Lipstick, this for me is the ‘Holy Grail’ of nude lipsticks. If you find it to be too pale, try blending it with a slightly darker lip pencil. To top it all off MAC Cremesheen Glass in Boy Bait, the name alone sold it to me. It’s a gorgeous creamy nude that compliments almost everyone.
