Snow Day

Hello lovely reader, how have you been keeping? Not much to report here except a sudden snow flurry. We had a good few inches of snow on Sunday which brought so much joy to everyone even though it only lasted a day! I love how beautiful everything looks with snow fall and how silent it is. I love the crunch sound it makes under my feet. I couldn’t wait to wear my ski leggings from Sweaty Betty and get out there! I’m all about bright colours at the moment as they really lift your mood! I’m so over the monocrome beige look it’s so boring and dull. I’ve even ditched the nude lipstick! You heard right!! I’m really enjoying a bright pink lip as it just lifts the face and brightens skin!

We had a wonderful walk nearby as we are lucky to have the countryside on our doorstep. There was even a little coffee van on route serving hot chocolate and yummy cakes. I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again, revel in the small delights, little joys, as Ikea says ‘ the wonderful everyday’.
