Pool Daze & Sweat Proof Makeup

We are having a heatwave! 40 degrees that’s 100F! The UK is not equipped to deal with extreme weather conditions, we don’t have aircon and most of our homes are insulated, designed to keep in. I’m not a hot weather person unless I’m on holiday on a beach! I’m an October girl, that’s my season but until then It’s iced coffee and dips in the pool.

I don’t know about you but makeup is part of my routine and I will wear it whatever the weather. I highly recommend a long wearing foundation and a good setting spray, this will keep your makeup on and looking fresh. Apply with a beauty blender that has been run under cool water with the excess squeezed out. This will give you super light coverage that never looks heavy or cakey.

What to wear? This fabulous T-Shirt dress is from Gap and it’s the best thing I’ve bought this year! It’s perfect for hot weather as it doesn’t cling to me, feels light and breezy. I paired it with my Arizona suede Birkenstocks which I wear with everything at the moment, I just love them.
