My Go-To Autumn/Winter Shadows
This is the time of year I just love to wear darker eyeshadows. I’m really enjoying the ethereal look at the moment. That soft halo of shadow around the whole eye that gives a glowy, dreamy effect, much like forest fairies I suspect. The trick is to take several variations of the same shade and build up the desired effect. I always like to start out with a warm orange/camel shade like MAC Uninterrupted to create that warm outer glow around the eye and about the socket line. I then colour wash the entire eyelid with a taupe shade finishing off underneath the eyeline. Every shade I use I bring under the eye so all the colours are seamless and blended in. You can do this with any colour shadow you wish. The great thing about this look is that it’s super quick to do and doesn’t require eyeliner. Pop on a berry pout and you are Autumn/Winter ready!
