Makeup For The Gym
The gym has become more than just a place to workout, it’s where we socialise too! Coffee after Pilates anyone? This means we need to look somewhat presentable and not like we just rolled out of bed and put on a pair of old sweats. No, it’s Sweaty Betty, Lou Lou Lemon, lattes and cue the ‘no makeup, makeup look’ This look is so easy and quick to achieve and best of all, it allows your skin to breathe. Start off with a light moisturiser to prep skin, I’m using Obagi Ossential Daily Power Defense. Conceal dark circles with a shade that is one to two shades lighter than your skin tone to brighten around the eyes. My favourite is bareMinerals Multi-Tasking SPF 20. For my foundation, I swear by bareMinerals Original Foundation SPF 15. This creates the most natural looking coverage that won’t block pores. Next, to add a bit of dimension I like to lightly apply bronzer around my temples, cheeks and jaw basically trace the number three around your face! Easy! Tame brows with Benefit Gimme Brow, curl lashes, skip the mascara and load lips with your favourite lip balm, I can’t live without Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream.
