Hot Weather Makeup

Hello lovely reader it’s been a scorcher this week with temperatures reaching over 30 degrees! Here in the UK that is hot! Bear in mind we do not have air conditioning so it’s hard to keep cool. In terms of makeup I have been keeping it light and fresh with added SPF for good measure. I finally bit the bullet and purchased the I.T Cosmetics CC Cream in the shade medium. I have been wanting to try this for such a long time but couldn’t commit to buying it as I have enough foundations. Well, I needed something that I could quickly pop on for dog walks without having to do a full makeup look and that had a decent SPF which the I.T CC Cream does with an impressive SPF 50. I still apply my Heliocare Advanced Gel SPF 50 first you can not rely soley on makeup alone to provide you with the recommended amount of sun protection.

I.T Cosmetics CC Cream has a light to medium coverage that is buildable, feels fresh upon application and gives skin a smooth health glow. It’s perfect for those hot, muggy Summer days when you don’t plan on doing a whole makeup look. I like to set this with bareMinerals Original SPF 15 loose mineral foundation in the shade medium beige. This locks everything in place while still looking natural.
