Hello Winter

Hello lovely reader, Winter is upon us once more and it’s time to sparkle. I find December to be the most magical and sparkly month of the year! It’s time to wear that red lip and shimmery shadow. I love makeup during the festive season because you can get as creative as you like. Something else I like to change up are my mugs! A good mug makes all the difference. I’m a mug connoisseur, I look at the shape and size and aesthetics of a mug. ( you can tell I take my mug procurement quite seriously ) This little beaut I picked up at a local garden centre. It’s perfect for my 11’oclock coffee.

We put the tree up on Sunday and all our decorations. The twinkly lights are my favourite, I love coming down in the morning and switching them all on, it’s just the most magical feeling.

As for makeup I’m all for the full glam and darker tones. I’ve been enjoying my bareMinerals barePro foundation for full coverage and a subtle smokey eye with of course the obligatory shimmer. To achieve this look, place a soft matte shade on the eyelid and top off with a bit of sparkle.
