Bonfire Night

Autumn festivities are my favourite, Halloween, Bonfire Night, Fireworks! I love the smells of woodsmoke, popcorn and sugar! I hadn’t been to Bonfire nights in quite awhile because as you grow up I guess you somehow stop doing those fun things. We are so lucky because this was right on our doorstep, we walked there through the park with only a torch to light our way. I just loved it. It was misty and cold and we were all bundled up. Once there I got a mulled which was just magic and candy floss which I just had to have! You can’t go to a fair and not have it! We watched the lighting of the bonfire and then had a wonder around the stall waiting in anticipation for the fireworks display. The fireworks were spectacular and set to some great music. It poured with rain but we stilled enjoyed it non the less.

Bring on the Xmas activities, mince pies, mulled wine and festive hot chocolate.
