Best Face Forward | bareMinerals

Those of you who have followed me over the years will know that I’m a bareMinerals fanatic. I love everything about this brand, it’s philosophy, the long-standing community that creator Leslie Blodgett inspired, the good for you ingredients and best of all how it makes me look and feel. I’ve mentioned before how sentimental I am about the Original foundation as I used it in my teens when I had horrific acne. Since then bareMinerals has grown rapidly expanding it’s product range from new and improved formulas to a new line of skincare. I recently picked up the Blemish Remedy Gelee Cleanser, formulated with mineral rich sea salt, peppermint and ginger extracts. This lathers up into a rich foam that leaves skin feeling fresh and clean without any tightness or dryness. I love using this in the mornings or after the gym. I picked up two new Marvelous Moxie lip glosses because, well they are the best glosses ever! They have an exhilarating vanilla/minty smell that makes you feel fresh and with the added combination of naturally derived shea, avocado and murumuru butters, lips stay smooth, hydrated and supple. I can drink coffee and eat lunch and my lips will look exactly the same as when I first applied it. The formula is not sticky or goopy and your hair won’t get stuck in it. I choose the shades Trial Blazer, a gorgeous shimmery nude and Smooth Talker which those of you who are bareMinarls veterans, will agree it’s very similar to Wild Honey, one of my all time favourite shades. I can only describe it as golden/pinky/mauve a colour to suit absolutely everyone!
