BareMinerals Make Under

You know I ‘ve loved and used Bareminerals for years but I’ve never actually had one of their “make unders ” I passed by one of the counters in House of Fraser in Guildford and noticed the sales associates skin and I said to her, “whatever you have on your face I want you to re-create on mine”. It’s been a long time since I’ve actually seen someone at a makeup counter with decent makeup and that’s saying something. There is something about this brand that is both sentimental and exciting to me. I love how good the products are from the packaging to the amazing ingredients inside that nourish and protect your skin. I have huge respect and admiration for it’s creator, Leslie Blodgett who whole heartedly put her life and soul into creating makeup that was good for skin and helped make woman feel beautiful again. If I were to work for any beauty company Bareminerals would be it. It is good,honest makeup that acts like skincare. Ok now on to my make-under. The gorgeous Vickie started off by applying Complexion Rescue in Natural with the smoothing face brush to hydrate and even out my skin. This feels wonderful by the way, like a spalsh of water! She then applyed BB Primetime Primer spf 30 which has a slight tint as I mentioned I like a substantial amount of coverage. Next up the iconic Original Foundation in Medium Beige to really polish off my complexion. This gives the most beautiful, flawless look you have ever seen, medium to buildable coverage with a subtle glow giving skin that healthy, youthfull look. Your skin but better! I mentioned I had an oily T-zone so Vickie suggested the Ready Touch Up Veil spf 15 which contains positive-charged sea minerals and antioxidants with cold-pressed grapeseed oil that eliminates shine and diffuses the look of large pores. This is perfect for touch ups on the go. For eyes I got to try out the 5in1 BB Eye Primer in Candlelit Peach, which has an spf 15, brightens and primes the eyelid for shadows helping them last longer with no creasing whatsoever. Packed with skin nourishing ingredients whats not to like. I really wanted a bright pop of pink on my lips and the Marvelous Moxie lip glosses are the best glosses I have used hands down! They are moisturing and long lasting and super glossy without the stickyness. I chose Life of the Party a bubblegum pink.  The overall look was fresh, natural and pretty just how I like it. So if you haven’t tried Bareminerals or are skeptical I highly suggest you book yourself in for a make-under beacause seeing is beliveing! Trust me when I say this is unlike any other brand you have ever tried.
