Coffee, Makeup & Pup

Last week Bertie and I spend a few days at my parents home. We enjoyed coffee in the garden, walks and lots of sunshine. He is my little shadow. I’m trying to get him used to not being next to me all the time so regular visits home is a must. He was so confused when we stayed the night! He is very much into his routine as am I. I find deciding what clothing to bring with me so difficult I ended up wearing half my sisters clothes. It’s like my mind goes blank even if I’ve written a list. I had breakfast with a friend and I hated what I was wearing, I looked like a sad sack. I knew I was meeting her so why didn’t I prepare a nice outfit? That’s anxiety for you! I seem to get overwhelmed by the smallest, inconsequential things like packing an overnight bag. I really envy those people who bring all the right things with them and organise their daily outfits accordingly. I think I’ve only managed that once in my life!

Anyway back home now and next week I am getting my hair and nails done which are both much needed.
