The Fragrance Wardrobe
I adore perfume. I love cocooning myself in a familiar favourite. I love looking at the beautifully designed bottles on my dresser. I don’t just wear perfume for the sake of smelling good, each one of these make me feel a certain way. I have a fragrance for work, weekends, lounging at home days and going out in the evenings. You may have one perfume that you wear all the time regardless and that works for you but you may want to broaden your perfume horizons. For example, if like me, you work in an office surrounded by other people you might want to be considerate of your colleagues and not wear a scent that’s so overpowering it gives them a headache. It may be your most beloved perfume but save it for “you” days. Consider going for something light and fresh. Typically I will wear a light body mist or my new favourite for spring, See by Chloe ( center) this is a clean, scent that’s very delicate and rather sophisticated. When I want to feel cozy and comforted, I will wear Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay or D&G La Roue De La Fortune of which I have purchased over three times I love it that much! On dates with the bf or nights out I like to wear something sexy like Victoria’s Secret Noir Tease or Prada Candy L’eau. These are both yummy sweet scents that make me feel delectable!
Perfumes are categorized by groups called families to help you differentiate the types of scent you like or go for. So when shopping, sales assistants can quickly ascertain what fragrance group to show you, rather than going through every single perfume on the shelf. The four standard families are Floral, Oriental, Woody and Fresh. These are then divided in to sub categories, but we don’t need to go into that, lets just stick with the basics. Here are mine.
See by Chloe – Floral/Fruity

Victoria’s Secret Noir Tease– Floral/Fruity

Hi Sylvia, yes I think its for sure a sign 🙂 I wore it just the other day and got so many compliments xoxox
I love perfumes as well & love how you have them on that book- such a clever idea! I definitely need to try out See next time I’m out because it sounds right in the area of scents I love!
Thanks Carly 🙂 oh its a lovely scent especially coming up to spring 🙂
i do agree that if you work around people, definutely consider them when choosing perfume. I love the chloe perfumes. I am a perfume addict myself. I would have so many of them if I could. also I love how they remind you of certain time in your life too. For that reason, I tend to repurchase bottles as well.
Its amazing how a scent can take you back to something only you will know.
I love how perfumes make me feel too! My favourite scents are floral I think 🙂
