Jil Sander Sun Shake

Jil Sander Sun Shake is a limited edition modern twist on the original fragrance, Sun. It’s the first patented bi-phase perfume technology that fuses the scent’s tropical colours by shaking up the bottle. This is Summer on the Cote D’Azur bottled! It’s big floppy hats and Audrey Hepburn shades. It’s kaftans and statement jewellery. Developed by perfumer Nathalie Lorson this oriental/floral/fruity fragrance bursts with top notes of bergamot, mandarin and lemon peel. The heart is fresh and sensual with pink grapefruit, frangipani flowers and lotus. The base warms down with heliotrope, musk and precious woods symbolizing a sunset. I would have quite liked this to be a dry body oil with a bit of shimmer, now that would be perfect! Still, I think it’s a funky concept and I love the smell possibly more than Estee Lauder’s Bronze Goddess!
