TOO FACED PEACH PERFECT COMFORT MATTE FOUNDATION

Although having had a bad makeover experience with Too Faced at their London Flagship store, you can read the full story here I took the plunge by actually trying out the Peach Perfect Comfort Matte foundation for myself at home how I would normally apply any of my other foundations and I can safely say I am a Peach Perfect convert. This is the perfect foundation for Summer. It’s lightweight, medium to buildable coverage, provides a modern matte finish that lasts of up to 14 hours. If you are an oily skin girl like me, you will love this. It looks natural and fresh and never cakey. It’s infused with peach and sweet fig cream but don’t worry if you are sensitive to scent as it dissipates almost immediately upon application. I prefer to apply this foundation with a damp beauty sponge and set with any translucent powder. I wore this in 29-degree heat, poolside sunning myself with no need for touch-ups. It still looked freshly applied at 11 pm at night, not a smudge in sight, so it definitely lives up to its transfer resistant claim which is a first for me! I have the shade Warm Nude which is a little on the neutral side, I should have gone for the Light Beige but once again I took the sales assistants recommendation instead of my own. When will I learn?

I have to say this is fast becoming my favourite foundation and I’ve only worn it twice! It’s seriously so good and the packaging just makes me happy. It’s also worth mentioning that it is photo friendly meaning it doesn’t contain SPF so won’t cause the dreaded flashback on nights out. If you are out in the sun don’t forget to apply your sunscreen underneath, my current go-to is Heliocare 360 Gel Oil-Free SPF 50, which sits beautifully under makeup.
