Kat Von D Shade & Light Contour Palette
Hello lovelies coming at you with another fabulous Birthday gift from my sissy. I have been wanting to get my hands on this for ages! Again I had heard rave reviews all of YouTube and just had to see for myself. I have never tried anything from Kat Von D before so if this palette is anything to go by then I can’t wait to try everything else in her makeup range. First off I just love the sleek packaging and the font (yes I like the font) It has three contour shades including the most amazing bronzer ever! and three highlight shades. It designed for all different skin tones but what I like about it is that I can use almost every shade on each part of my face. I use the yellow shade under my eyes and the brighter shade on the tops of my cheekbones. I use the middle dark shade as an all over bronzer and the medium dark as a contour under my chin and sides of my face. The darkest will come into use when I’m tanned in the summer as will the peachy light shade. So you see it’s very versatile. I’m the sort of person who wants to get use out of a whole palette not just one or two shades otherwise what’s the point? This has exceeded my expectations and in my opinion is one of the best contour palettes out there. The texture of the powders are like silk, melting undetectably into skin. The effect it gives is amazing. It’s easy to use and includes a how-to guide on how to place each shade for your desired effect. Brilliant! I been reaching for this daily!
